We made the quiche ourselves: Audrey made the crust and the custard, I fried the bacon and sautéed the veggies (broccoli, green pepper and onion), and we also used some leftover roasted chicken - and all of the ingredients came from local farms.
Suck it, east coast jerz douche mong meathead. |

Yeah, I've been to a few...had a good time but I NEVER see them win. It's also weird to watch a sporting event where people look at you funny when you stand up and yell profanity at the opposing keeper. |

Yeah, I haven't seen them win much. Might be due to them sucking the past few seasons.
We went to the Shittle game on the 12th and they got drubbed 4-0, but got see a nice line brawl at games end. |

I have been to exactly one Winter Hawks game. It was an early season game about 2 years ago, and I went with Aram; he and his gal Erin are bona fide Winterhawks fanatics, and Erin couldn't go that night, so I got her ticket. Their season tix were front row, right next to the opponent's penalty box (this was at the Rose Garden). The Winter Hawks were wearing these new/alternate uniforms with a sort of stylized Portland skyline on them.
There was a fight precisely 2 seconds after the puck dropped, and when the guys finished serving their misconduct penalties, they came out of the boxes and immediately fought again. It was strange, that. The Hawks lost the game but it was fun.
I used to live in South Florida and went to maybe a dozen Florida Panthers games, including an Eastern Conference Finals game vs the Penguins at Miami Arena in '96 (the Panthers won the series but I don't remember if they won that game - I do remember the ice being showered in rats after the Panthers scored a goal, and the Pens keeper scooting backwards into his net to avoid being pelted - more than once an actual rat was thrown on the ice that year).
Miami Arena was in the shittiest, nasty part of downtown Miami (where they had those riots during the NBA All Star game about 20 years ago, remember?). Then the Panthers moved to a new arena out in the swamp and we saw a few games there too.
I was into hockey for a while back then. In college I went to one Tallahassee Tiger Sharks game (ECHL, I think the league is defunct now, it was pretty low budge), and there was a really wicked fight; I remember blood all over the ice.
