ECHL is still in existence, www.echl.com , but they have a team from Alaska playing in it. How is that east coast? |

That is the stupidest thing I have ever heard. Because "ECHL" is just such an intuitive name that really rolls off the tongue. Why not just mash your hand into the keyboard and call the league whatever tangle of characters results?
My favorite team plays in the cv., xd5gp9, league. |

I was going to post this earlier today. I'm certainly up for catching a couple hockey games this winter. Especially if I can stand and scream horrible obscenities as loudly as possible for the entire game. Because that's how I roll at sporting events.
But really I'm interested. If a weeknight, I'd also be interested in meeting up at Cap'n Ankeny's or some other bar in that neighborhood after work for some speed glug glug glug before hopping a train to the Rose Q. Cap'n Ankeny's has been a reliable pre-Blazers bar for me for a couple years now. |

The great thing about the MC is that the cheap seats up towards the top aren't bad at all. And you could probably stand and yell.
At some point, whenever Talk Timbers is back up and running , we will have to try and get this organized. The last game we went to we road the max the whole time and stopped by Blitz afterwards for drinks. Good times. |

i bet we could get a lot of people out for this one. it's teddy bear toss so you can come and help a good cause and the crowd will be the biggest it's been this season. being that the crowd will be larger, it wouldn't be a half bad idea to look into group tickets. |
