I'm playing with alot of the features so all feedback is appreciated.
Things I'm working on:
- Forums
- Forum banner: I was thinking of Hawkeytown or just Winterhawks with the Hawk logo, maybe even the Portland skyline.
- Color schemes (i've installed a red theme to choose along with the standard silver)
- still learning about the various options we have.

We'll see how this goes, but what about possible domain names that could be purchased to park the board? Talkhawks is already taken, so...

| Tri Cities Fan here. Read the OL board a bit. This is much better to work with for posting like the colors also. I would hope others will move over to post. |

| FYI - i set the default board style as RedGlass. I think it looks good with all the Winter Hawks colors. You can change these in your profile. |

looks really good man. i think i like talkhawkey.com best, but you should make a poll once a few more people register.
i think a simple little flyer on one of the booster club tables that says the url and maybe something a little more would be a good way to increase the traffic to this site. i'm not sure what their rules are about that kinda stuff though... |

Well, with the long road trip ahead, my hopes are that some of the members from Oregon live will mosey on over here and get some conversation going.
Not sure about the flyer situation, but it might be worth looking into. We got a ways till our next home match and I'm hoping I can make the trip up for it. |

Some things to work on -
- Look and style of board : I have heard that the black and red is not easy on the eyes (personally I like it)..anyways it is an option. I have set the default back to the subSilver look.
- URL : I am exploring a few options, but for now free is good
- Change : I realize that it is hard for people to break old habits. I just want this to be an alternative for those Hawk fans that want a place where the communication is easy to follow and read. I've voiced my opinion before, I don't like the OregonLive forum setup.
- Continue to hear feedback : Thank you to all that have given feedback, it is appreciated. Nothing will change with the OregonLive format. I can guarantee you that I will listen to feedback and we will make this the place to post for Hawkey fans.
- I encourage everyone to join up and let their opinions be heard.

I'm not sure where I'm going to go from here. I have heard from friends that the sight sometimes redirects them to spamming sites. I am going to look into maybe setting something else up, though it appears that many are unwilling to switch to a multiple forum setup. For now, I will leave the forum up.

Originally I had it setup very similar to Talk Timbers, but the feedback I was getting was that the board was too confusing.
I'll add a NHL forum now.  |
